My husband and I shared a home with her and her mom and dad for a year, her parents worked at night so we got to watch her. Oh she was so much fun. Violet was 3 years old when Papa and I moved. Her family moved to a new home as well. We called her all the time and she would tell us "I miss my old home". She spent a week with us last month and she and I were talking about stuff and she said I miss my old home Nanny. I asked her why she felt like that and she didnt know why. I told her, her new home isnt much different then her old home. I asked her, do you want to know why you miss that old home so much? Yes she said, I said, Its because Nanny and Papa lived with you then and we were with you all the time, and its not like that any more. I could see in her eyes that that is what had been troubling her. She didnt even know why she missed that old home. And some how, I could see it, knowing just what "it" was that she was missing so much, set her free.
I have 5 children and 8 grandchildren. I will tell you all about them here.
